If the river flow looks fast or there has been heavy or persistent rainfall in recent days, you must consider the flow before boating.
If the flow at Tees Barrage is greater than 100 cubic metres per second (cumecs), then only experienced crews may boat. No crews may boat if the flow is greater than 150 cumecs.
